My son has worn these pants a few times, and they are very light, tear easily, and difficult to clean due to thin, fragile material.

These pants look okay when you unwrap them, but you can feel they are lightweight. They are thin and tear easily at the knees and if you scrub too hard to get them clean, then it contributes to the tearing. They also tend to look less neat than those with ankle elastic since they are loose and bunch up at the bottom. There is no extra padding like the pro pants. The only redeeming quality is they are a little cooler in the hot weather since they are so thin. My son would rather have the pro pants with the padding even though they aren't thinner to be cool. He hates the others as do I.
