I have, and now my son(s) have inherited, a love for Easton bats. We enjoy the streamline feel of our new Surge from last season. They, unlike so many others, feel like they are weighted properly for optimum bat speed/power during each swing. The first day of practice(I am the coach) we noticed the "pop" that it had. We assumed that being made to use the BBCOR bats would cut our power rankings during the season. Matt found out during the first practice just how wrong we were! He plays CF and boy did he run, run, and run more! The Easton bats I/we have accumulated over the last 6-7 seasons ranging from TeeBall right straight up through high school varsity have been of the utmost quality and have all shown the other quality I look for when using MY money on equipment, longevity. We have donated Matt's bats when he out grows them, to the OLL and most are still being put to work.

I recently purchased S4 and am very impressed. It has a great feel and I am able to generate more bat speed. The balance is excellent. This is a significant upgrade from the S3, which is also a great bat.
