I just bought his bat yesterday, and I have hit two out already. I was really suprised by how shorty the time was to break it in. The two-piece design gives the bat flex, allowing the huge sweet spot to whip through the hitting zone. The feel is great, if you like top heavy bats, with the drop eleven. All the hits I got were solid and firm. I get a very positive feed back when the ball is hit right. Over all an awesome bat!

My 10 year old loves this bat - drives the ball all over the yard. Easton also has the best return policies if ever a problem.

The XL2 youth aluminum barrel with composite handle bat is a great compromise offering better value than a full composite, and still having many of the same advantages. This bat has low to no bat sting, is well balanced, and has a large sweet spot. As advertised it is more end weighted than many youth bats of the same weight, so consider if your batter has the strength to get it around and keep it from dipping through the zone (some of the boys on my team do, some don't). Overall, it is a very well designed, high quality bat.

My 11 year old son loves his XL2, good pop he likes the XL barrel. He has an S1 but is looking for more power and prefers the XL2 right now. Can't wait to get outside and see the ball fly.

XL needs a strong player to support the bat but once mastered this bat gives you the extra pop for the long ball.
