Junior Big Barrel Baseball Bat
The XL3 Junior Big Barrel is a 2 3/4" all aluminum design with a -10 length-to-weight ratio. This one-piece bat allows the player to take a direct path to the ball, while the massive sweet spot offers a forgiving hitting surface.

My son is 5 and little 40lbs and 40" or so. Started out with speed series with small barrels. He makes contact, in our coach pitch league, every at bat without having to use tee. But the ball wasnt traveling very far or fast. I bought the xl3 big barrel and he LOVES it. He is crushing the ball now! Now he wants to practice every day. All of his teammates use it and has added confidence in every single child. I took it to batting cages and hit about 200 machine pitch balls after reading it needed it. Noticed the better performance immediately.

Simply put, it's awesome. My son loves his Easton bat, as does the rest of the team. The few kids on the team that dont have Easton bats all borrow them from the kids that do. They all love them for the solid feel, sound and lack of vibration.

Excellent quality, lots of pop. Easton produces only youth bat our team has used that doesn't dent.

This bat had descent pop right out of the wrapper, but after get some games in it really came to life. The larger sweet spot ranges the whole length of the barrel, so pretty much wherever you make contract your gonna end up with a descent hit.
