I have twin TeeBallers and their helmets have saved them a few times. From bars and balls alike, they've absorbed the impact well and are in great shape.
Out of the box they are great. I'm in my third season with them, and the thinner fitting foam is tearing out. I would like to see that last longer or be easier to replace.
The sizing scale they use also seems to be off. I have four year olds wearing helmets they say are for seven year olds. I have sent one parent to the store because they bought one for their five year old that was for TeeBall and it didn't fit his head (crown of head was visible in front). If you get a good fit though, it works out well.

I have played at different levels since high school up to now in a men's recreational league. This helmet has been by far the most comfortable and resistant helmet I have had. And I have a collection since I provide all the helmets for my team. I make sure this one I keep for myself.

Both my kids use Easton helmets, but I'll comment on my daughter's. She loves the lightweight feel (have tried several, but keep on coming back to Easton) and now that they have the softball face guard (which is different from the baseball face guard) it's even better. The color selection and two tones make it easy to match the team uniforms too!

Son took a fastball to the side of the head, knocked his helment right off, got up and said Coach I'm fine, lets play. Needless to say I took him out and we went to the hospital to make sure. Very happy with the purchase of this helment and for protecting my sons big ol head!
