Mako M5 Sr. - Grip
Hockey Stick
It's a game of split seconds to catch the puck and put it on net. Completely redesigned to improve weight and balance combined with the performance and feel of the segmented core, the new Mako allows players to make quick moves and put pucks on net.
- Micro-bladder blade process
- Multi-rib blade construction

Rated 1 out of 5 by eric18 this stick is terrible
feels like the blade is to heavy, I started hockey with Easton's and now have moved to Bauer, the MAKO line of sticks in a disappointment

This stick has a great feel to it. It feels more solid than other sticks and it seems the puck explodes of off it. It does weigh a little more than other sticks but I feel like that is a positive with the overall feel. Passes don't explode of the stick.

* 9/10 performance. Performance matches other top level sticks.
* Better durability than top mako and ccm RBZ.
* Paint chips off too easy.
* Blade is nice and stiff.
* Improves your shot in all areas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hockeystud7 A great replacement for the Synergy ST
I've gone through a number of Easton sticks (SE, 75S) trying to replace my old standard of the ST and the Mako M5 Grip has finally filled that void.
My complaint with the other Easton sticks has been there durability, particularly for me as a defenseman where my stick takes more a beating from poke checks, clearing players in front of the net and going into the corners. The Mako M5 has held up very well so far.
The stick has a little stiffer feel than the RS line but after you get used to it, it performs at the same high level.
This is a durable high performing stick that can take a beating and still deliver hard accurate shots. I would highly recommend it.

I was looking for a replacement for the Easton ST, and am very pleased with the M5. I am looking for a little more durability in a stick, without giving up too much performance. This stick was the ticket. A few friends of mine have tried it, and ended up buying one for themselves.

This stick handles like a log. I used EQ50's in the past. After my EQ broke last year, Easton sent me the M5 as a warranty replacement. This was disappointing; as the M5 is not the top of its line like the EQ was and does not handle or release anything like the EQ. I've tried this stick over and over and cannot get it to perform.
