This helmet is light weight and protective. I would recommend this product to all advance players. This helmet also has great style and looks great. I play very aggressive and feel very positive about my play with this helmet to protect my head.

The snap system on the S9 was pretty good at helping you create a 'good' fit. The new Giro Fit system helps create a "superior" fit. By adjusting front to back and side to side independently, you truly get a custom fit. That would pretty much sell me on a helmet right there, but they've gone and made it lightweight, stylish (with a choice of two finishes) and the best performing helmet I've ever worn. My visor never fogs up due to its awesome breathability and super easy to keep clean since the removable pads can be washed. You really do forget that you're even wearing a helmet. After playing hockey for 30+ years, I can finally say that I have found a helmet that I would buy and recommend again (and again).

This helmet cannot be matched in comparison to any other helmet on the market in regards to weight/feel! You have to see it and feel it for yourself to believe it.

I have played hockey for over 37 years now and Inline hockey for almost 20 years. I have tried all the top helmets and always ended up wanting something more and less . More protection and more comfort with less weight, less parts to break, less hassles and less shine. Well with the E700 Matt, I found a helmet with the kool look and extreme comfort in the lightest helmet I have ever worn. Whether it is on the ice or on the tile...simply the best helmet I have ever worn. Matched with my Easton RS II stick and the RS gloves and I have the best performance/comfort/safety gear ever!

I went from the S9 to the E700. Very light, lots of airflow. Overall, I like the helmet. The downside is that I really stand out with the matte finish. Causes some "targeting". But, I also took a puck to the side, slow wrister. It cracked the think outer shell. Purely cosmetic damage and I still use the helmet regularly. I'd rate it higher except for that one crack. Unless something better is released, I'll buy another E700 when I need a new helmet.

This is the best helmet I've bought, and I've bought a lot of helmets. The fit is amazing, and the weight on my head is second to none. The sweat bands do a great job of sopping the buckets of sweat that come out of me during a game.
Regarding protectiveness, I took a wicked fall at practice the other day, and bounced my dome off the ice - HARD. Not only did I not have any pain at the impact point, I barely had any residual headache from my brain rattling around. If I hadn't had this helmet on, I most certainly would've sustained a pretty gnarly concussion.
