They are light, what I like, they almost feel like nothing while on ice.. I can also relate to the upper strap being a bit too tiny and sometimes the protection pad on strap gets lost in the bag. Otherwise it has excellent protection which I tested blocking the shot with my kneecap and I barely felt it!!

These are extremely lightweight which I like but don't like the top strap. It is too small of a strap, doesn't stay straight and the velcro rubs on the calf skin.

These shinnys are probably one of the best mid-price-point on the market. They very protective, light, and narrow. I don't feel anything when im hit with a puck or stick. MUST BUY!
