Rated 5 out of 5 by Nico Best ever - my favorite!
I recently upgraded from the junior to the intermediate Mako stick, and I continue to love my Easton Mako! The puck handling and toe-dragging abilities are why I like this the best, as well as the weight and durability. This stick can take a beating and still perform beyond expectations.

I have been using Easton sticks only for the last four years of youth hockey. I have had several styles of Easton sticks, and my favorite is the Mako. I have two different Mako sticks right now as well, one as my regular, and an M2 as my backup. Sadly, I broke my Mako in a playoff game last Saturday. :-(
My dad is going to buy me another Mako this week, as I have tryouts again this weekend for a AAA team I was on last spring. I had the Mako that broke last weekend for about a year, and it was my favorite stick of all Easton sticks. My dad hung my broken Mako on my bedroom wall, along with several trophies and medals I have accumulated over the years. You can never go wrong with ANY Easton hockey stick- from lower-end intro models to the best composite sticks. Easton sticks are always a smart choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AubreyP Mako - Style, Light, & Endure
I have the original Mako, and this product has a nice balance, it's light but not too light where you feel it would break as you were shooting or being/doing stick checking. With playing 3-4 times a week, through games (at varied skill levels) and practices it still feels as good as the day I purchased it and has endured the hacking of other players. And just look at the stick, the color is just so clean looking & has turned other companies (ex. CCM) to start making there stick with flat white matte paint, definitely a first of its kind stick and leader in a pack of followers.

This is the best hockeystick I ever got. I sure was suprised by the feeland weight. The flex was sweet because i play defense and take big slapshots from the point and it just flies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mav Just switched from the RS to the Mako and love it.
More narrow shaft for my smaller hands gives me the ability to control the puck better. It seems to give me a bit more flex than my RS and I can feel the whip/kick of the shaft helping with the speed of my shot.

I was one of the first people to get this stick as I am part of the easton local heros ambassador program. Right away I loved the new graphics, huge improvement from the first mako and the weight and balance of this stick is ridiculous. the ribbed blade has stayed stiff and responsive for the three months I've had it and I love the kick I get when I shoot. I am also a huge fan of the new ridges on the shaft as I use a matte stick it gives me a little extra grip. This is the best stick I have ever used, overall great stick. master the art of scoring with the Mako II
