Rated 5 out of 5 by Speedz98 Upgrade from the original Mako
Immediately what jumped at me the first skate with the Mako II was the improved Blade quality. The added stiffness in the blade allows my shot to be a lot more accurate from the start of practice till the 3rd period of the next game I play. Increased durably is evident and the blade is the greatest feature . The shaft still kicks really well like the original Mako but the balance is better. If anything the Mako II plays a little softer than the last Mako but it's not bad at all. Excellent stick.

Great stick! I feel like I have more power on my shot, and with accuracy. Can't ask for more than that!

Keep getting emails bugging me to write a review to win some gear so what the heck, might as well. Cept' I haven't had an Easton stick since last fall, the reason being the blades kept blowing up on me. Like 7 of em. A few cracked in the middle but most of em just split in half at the toe. Now I thought there'd be pretty good odds that I'm shooting like a moron but after watching that youtube vid detailing the e28 lie, it seems I'm doing it rather well.
So yeah, great twigs but student budget = next easton I use will be when I'm gainfully employed. Unless you guys wanna mail some over.

bought this stick as a back up to my st grip, now I use it as my primary stick. Much more solid feel to my shot with the Mako.
A little pricey but, definetly a good stick

Rated 4 out of 5 by prs_parker Great lightweight stick and blade seems better made than the EQs.
I had 3 EQ sticks split in the middle of the toe (separate). I love the way stickhandling feels and getting a quick hard shot off is easy!

Much power and long living. We are playing weekly for beer drinking after The Match.

The stick broke half way through my FIRST game using it. I received a replacement stick (props to Easton for that!), but now a few months later there is a rattle in it that I cannot eliminate. Something loose down by the blade in the shaft that I cannot dislodge. I have had to retire it. Not happy!
