I bought the Easton Talon Legend attack shaft a little under a year ago and I have been very pleased with it up to this point. As a midfielder I am always looking for a durible shaft that is light weight and has a comfortable feel. The shaft's composit make-up makes it light weight yet still strong and the wood surface gives the shaft an interesting texture to feel as well as a unique look. I had a composite shaft by brine before thins and i really liked it but it broke. This shaft has held up flawlessly. The look is dead on as well. It looks identical to a hickory lacrosse shaft which I made myself from a hickory log. I have recomended this shaft to many people already and continue to use it on my starting stick. I am very impressed at the progress Easton is making in the lacrosse world.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Coach McDevitt Amazing feel and strength.
I have been lucky enough to play lacrosse since the 1st grade and all the way through college. Now as a coach, I can easily say this shaft is simply the best. The feel in your hands can not be replicated. The strength of this stick is superior to any alloy shaft on the market.

Rated 4 out of 5 by shakes18 This shaft is well made, and not only maintains a consistency in all weather, but gives your setup a great nostalgic feel as well.
This shaft is well made and very functional. The wooden coating gives it a great look, but none of the heaviness of an actual wood shaft, and allows it to remain more consistent in nearly all weather. None of the slipperiness a metal shaft has to deal with in rain, and none of the numbing cold the metal can have early in the season or during winter ball. It also has a great look, a throwback that many other players will envy. Still, it doesn't replicate the feel of a real wood shaft, with less flexibility and weight, so if you're looking for a solid wood shaft, this may not be the best choice. Overall, it's a good shaft that will be a solid choice if your looking for something different, but may take some getting used to if moving from a metal or authentic wooden shaft.

This is a great stick. It's strong, lightweight and most of all I haven't broken it yet. I usually break 1 or 2 sticks a season and I've used this for three different seasons. Great stick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Eli's25 Great looking, great performance!
Playing with a wood handle is pretty cool! It looks intimidating and is a mild throw-back to the wooden sticks originally used in Lacrosse. However, the weight of a wood shaft can make it a liability. ...until now. The Legend handle offers all the desirable aspects of a wooden shaft; the intimidating look, increased torque on feeds/shots and more powerful checks. The Legend does this all without the heft of a hickory shaft, allowing us to have all the benefits of wood at alloy weight. The wood veneer looks great and provides excellent grip. The veneer also does not transfer temperature the way alloy does, it feels less cold on early season days! Great handle, thanks Easton!
