Experience loud, powerful, brute strength with the new Easton® Beast Speed™ -10. ATAC Alloy one-piece construction provides a light, yet powerful barrel, and the new Speed Cap™ helps create a more flexible and responsive barrel, while also enhancing the sound of the bat. The -11 speed design provides a lightweight swing weight for more speed behind the ball at contact. This 2018-19 Beast Speed™ model has a 2-5/8” barrel and features a custom Lizard Skin™ grip for the best feel, cushion and tack. It is approved for play in leagues and associations that follow the USA Baseball standard.

BEAST SPEED -10 (2 5/8") is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok for USA bat This bat is pretty good. Has a little pop to it. Will vibrate your hands some though which my son complains about. Disappointed too that only after a few sessions with this bat, the tapered part of the barrel has several dents in it already.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dead bat Bought this for Little League and thought the kid just wasnt finishing his swing or something else with mechanics. Nope, this bat is garbage, no pop, just dead. Went back to his last years Rawlings and he's now pounding again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great bat but defective in 2 months Bought 27” version in January 2019 for my 8 yr old who is not very big kid. He loved the bat and it had much more pop then his USA bat from last year. It is a good looking bat and has great balance. 2 months in and now the disc inside came lose and rattling around. Bought it online from Dicks and now baseball season is in and they are completely out of stock. Son is very upset and his first game is 2 days away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from USA review Bought 30/-10 Beast Speed Alloy. 11u This year USA model has a larger sweet spot and my son enjoys swinging the bat. It's true to weight and has a nice balanced to slight end loaded feel. 1st USA allot bat he likes and not many stingers. The compression is obviously better for Easton USSSA model but for USA bat it's one of my son's favorites which is surprising because he normally only swings composites.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Accurate Drop Weight. Great Pop I have twin 6 year old boys that play Little League baseball (coach pitch). One twin is 3 inches taller and 12 pounds heavier than his sibling. I bought two separate "Easton Beast Speed" bats for them. Both bats are 27 inches with a 2-5/8 barrel. I bought the drop -10 (17oz) for my smaller twin and the drop -11 (16oz) for my bigger twin. Considering the length of the bats were identical and the weight difference was supposed to be 1oz, I had both boys swing each bat and asked them which felt lighter and which was easier to swing. They both said that the black bat (drop -10) felt lighter. I purchased an ounce scale to kill my curiosity. It turned out that when I weighed them, the drop -10 was 17.5oz (with the wrapper still on). The drop -11 was 17.7oz under the same circumstances. So, the bat that is supposed to be 1 ounce lighter turned out to be .2 ounces heavier. After removing the wrappers, the drop -10 was still .2 oz lighter than the drop -11. The total weight of the drop -10 bat was 17.3 oz. Impressive considering it should weigh 17oz. I'm not sure how much the lizard skin grip weighs, or how much the weight of the grip comes into play. I am not sure if this is a quality control issue, whether they have the same disparities amongst all of their -10 and -11 bats, or if this is a rare circumstance. With that being said, the bats look great and seem to be of good quality. The bat has great pop and the ball seems to carry further in comparison to their other USA certified bats. The eldest twin is able to hit everything into the outfield. My smaller son has a bit of trouble getting the bat around quickly enough to make contact, but when he does make contact, the ball travels well.
