ADVANCED MATERIALS. EXPLOSIVE POWER. The 2018-19 Easton® Ghost® X Evolution -10 is a two-piece EXACT™ Carbon composite design with a speed balanced swing weight. New FLEX™ barrel technology, designed specifically for 1.15 BPF performance, provides a 20% softer barrel for optimal feel and performance. Easton’s new CXN EVOLUTION™ two-piece construction uses NITROCELL™ foam, creating a lighter and better feeling connection between the handle and the barrel, and a new Speed Cap™ design helps create a more flexible and responsive barrel, while also enhancing the sound of the bat. The -10 speed balanced design delivers a lighter swing weight for more speed behind the ball at contact, and Easton’s® DYNAMIC FEEL SYSTEM™ provides outstanding all-around feel and performance. This 2018-19 Easton® Ghost® X Evolution model has a 2-3/4” barrel and features a custom Lizard Skin™ grip for the best feel, cushion and tack. It is approved for play in USSSA and associations that follow the 1.15BPF standard.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hole after a season Got this bat at a bat day....was good for the season and just now noticed a huge hole in the base of the bat. Easton was good with CS and returned it for a new one which we are waiting on but this is the 2nd Easton bat that was defective and had to be returned. Not sure I would buy Easton again but this bat is a replacement for now...lets see what happens this year..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality bat Bought this bat for my son to use for travel ball. It is a quality product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than average As per the reviews, the bat has had issues with the end cap coming off. So far through one tournament and a couple bp sessions- the bat has shown some pop and no sting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still new, so far so good... My son has used it in 2 tournaments so far, with no complaints. We use it on the tee to help with breaking it in. So far, it seems to be performing as expected, he likes the feel off the bat and does not mention any vibration. Only time will tell if the issue with the end cap appears, but for the most part he has stayed away from hitting it off the end of the bat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expensive Bat.. that will crack after a few months We bought one for our All Star tournament. A teammate had the same bat and the kids liked it but his cracked so we picked one up. Surprise surprise.. ours cracked as well.. sending it back for a new one.. which will crack in a few months. So I guess Easton, maybe just put me on a 6 month shipping plan where I can get a new one, have it crack, send it back and then we can keep a rotation going? I mean, it's a good bat, feels great, kids love it.. parents would love it if it wouldn't break all the time.. the good news is that it will break before you have a chance to lose the receipt.. so there's that.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from YEP....OUR CAP CRACKED TOO... My 10 year old son saved his money for a year to purchase this bat himself. His team mate had one and he loved it. The big day arrived and we headed to Dick's to get it for him. He was so excited to show it off to his team. About 2 weeks later his teammate's end cap cracked. We were hoping this would not happen to ours but a few tournaments later we heard a weird sound as he hit the ball. Yep...our end cap cracked in the exact same place as his team mate's. Now I have to pay to ship the bat back and get it replaced...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from End Cap Issue This bat is bad product. In 3 months, we already broken 2 bats !!!! The End Cap is the major issue. bad conception. Easton should refund everybody because they gonna get a bad reputation believe me

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sounds like a 2x4 My son picked out this bat against my advice. I didn't like the sound of it from the start, and the "thud" has not improved. Properly broken in per Easton's instructions, never used in temps below 68F, and now the barrel is cracking/peeling/delaminating after 8 months of use. On a positive note, the end cap is still intact. Sending it in for warranty, but I'm disappointed in Easton and purchased a Marucci to replace it already.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Bat!! My son knocks the ball out of the park with this bat!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cap Issue: When will Easton fix this design flaw? We are on our 4th bat replacement, one cracked barrel and 3 cracked endcaps. My son loves this bat when it works. But come on Easton..fix this!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn’t last long I purchased this Bat with a voucher the beging of April after our bat we bought was deemed illegal and no bats were available to replace it. =098765trdszA. We’ve had 7 games and the cap broke already. So NOW WHAT? We didn’t have it for a tourney today and we have a tourney next week. Will I get a replacement in time?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money...Another broken end Cap My son was extremely excited to get this bat....until his second at bat...end cap cracked. How could a company let a product this poorly designed get to market...Easton wake up!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tons of cracks My 11 yo had the 2018 Ghost X and loved it. That bat was so incredibly durable and produced rockets! So for his 12U season, I decided (against my gut feeling) to upgrade to the newest Ghost X Evolution. Easton claimed more pop and distance. While that might have been true, it didn’t last and the bat started to crack. As you can see in the pics, the cracks follow a pattern around the bat. Crazy! I’ve returned the bat under their warranty, but certainly not excited to break in a new one that will probably have the same issues. I don’t recommend this bat and I wish Easton would have done their due diligence and truly tested this bat before releasing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken End Cap My son had bat less than 2 weeks and broken end cap. Should have read reviews here before buying. Can not justify spending north of $350 dollars for a bat that spent more time being shipped back to Easton for repairs then on games.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pop for young players! My 10U son put about 160 soft toss hits on it and took it to the games. Strong hits with pop! We’ve only had it for about a month, but so far so good!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great so far Bought the ghost x last week. Much better balance then the end heavy 2018 USA beast. We maybe has 50-100 bp hits on it before his games last weekend. He's 10 playing on 12u and his second game using the bat hit a left center hr! He likes the look and feel and prefers it over his old mako. Hopefully we avoid the end cap issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easton Ghost Rocks My son popped 3 Dem Zens in less than 6 months. He tried it and loves it. It has almost as much pop out the wrapper as the Zen, but is getting hotter each hitting session. It has great pop and it's durable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken End Cap Excellent bat when it isn’t broken... Just like all the other reviews, the end cap on the bat broke after using it for 2 weeks. It took Easton 6 weeks to replace the bat under warranty. The time we got it back, child had two games left in the season.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design We were on bat 2 of this design. Each bat has been well taken care of. My son is the only one who hits with it and only uses it during games. The first time the endcap broke after three at-bats, I thought it was a fluke. Now that two have broken and the second one in the 5th at-bat, this is a major design flaw of this bat. Hopefully Easton recognizes the problem especially since there are multiple bad reviews now on this particular bat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't touch the end cap it breaks My son who is 12 had 2 swings in the game and the second was towards the end of the bat. It broke. Love Easton but not this bat. This will be one of many of these bats sent back. Awful......

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable despite what other reviews say I have seen this bat hold up to some real abuse. My son and his teammates have broken 6 other bats this season (2019) so far. He and 1 other teammate both have the Ghost. They are hitting with great velocities and doubles are a constant when using this bat. Even grounders for the infielders are hard to stop because of the exit speed on the ball. Very easy to control for directional shots where the defense is leaving a gap. Highly recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken end cap We bought this bat for our son for his Birthday because he loves easton. End cap broke 2 weeks later. Called warrant and they fixed it. Took 4 weeks during baseball season to receive the bat back . First practice bat end cap breaks again. Called and i was told id get a new bat out right away. Sent bat back right away. Two and a half weeks later i call and the bat still has not shipped out. A very expensive bat to not be able to use nor have we been able to play baseball with the brand new bat during the season. Very disappointed in Easton. We buy a new baseball bat every year from them

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken End Cap Bought this bat back in November 2018 for my son who play on a tournament team. This is the second time I'm returning this bat for end cap issues.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap end cap I bought this bat for my son. Used it a few times at practice and the end cap broke. Sent it in under warranty. Supposedly fix the problem and the next practice cap had huge crack in it again. Emailed and call CS many many times and no return phone calls. Disappointing!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from End Cap Breaks My son has had the end cap break on 2 bats after about 3 to 4 weeks of use. Customer service has been great, they're sending bat #3 out today. This just shouldn't happen with a $350 bat. He has used Easton USSSA bats for years and loves them, but this may be our last unless they figure out how to resolve this issue. If this breaks during a tournament, he's going to have a rough weekend when he has to borrow a teammate's bat! Figure this out Easton!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken End Cap Same issue with my Evo. End cap exploded after about 300 swings. Bad design. Had the bat less than a week. Never made it to a tournament with it yet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Strike 2: End Cap Cheap Got bat back after replaced end indoor hitting practice and one game and it was done. End Cap broke again. Waited on hold for over 1.5 hours to talk to someone (after calling multiple times earlier in the day only to be told they were open from 8-5 Pacific time but it was 10:00 Pacific time and received the message they were closed) to be disconnected after being they were closed again (at around 1:15 Pacific time). The issue is irritating but the customer service wait time and disconnects is a load of BS! I would not risk your money on their quality or customer service. Demarini has been ultra responsive and has quick turnarounds on their bat issues - I know due to another coach on our team dealing with them. Easton does not care about quality of customer support clearly.....There are far better options....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from End Cap Issues This is the 3rd bat I have received from Easton and the same thing happened to this one. The end cap design is terrible on this bat. My son loves this bat but the durablity is in question with the end cap design. All 3 bats I have received have had the end cap crack or blowout. Not to mention yesterday I spent 2 hours off and on trying to get ahold of Easton’s customer service with no luck. Very unhappy with bats durability and Easton’s customer support

Rated 2 out of 5 by from End cap issues!!! During the my son's first hitting session after taking the initial 100 swings at 50% to break it in, the end cap cracked and a piece broke off. This shouldn't be happening for a bat that costs over $300. Will be contacting customer service to have this issue resolved.
