Great bat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll admit it does scratch easily. But, my 7 year old is in my opinion on the weaker side. Before this bat he was hit it at the fence. Now, he’s jacking it over the fence. This bat is 5*s for me because it’s proven that cheap bats equal cheap results. Pricey bats=excellent results.

Big Dent
I bought this bat for my 10-year-old son less than two months ago. Finally started playing ball mid June. My son is one of the smallest Kids you’ll see on most 10U teams. He hit a nice line drive today, but just destroyed the bat.

Great for an 8 year old!
Purchased this a month ago and has been using it since. He plays pinto baseball and it’s great! He’s been told not to hit poles and the fence with it.

Dents very easily
Bought this bat for my 8 year old son. He has only used it a few times and does not swing hard at all but the bat has several dents in the barrel. Very disappointed with the quality.

Excellent Bat - Easton is still hard to beat.
A great bat for the price. 27 inch, 16 oz (-11) is perfect for my 7 year old son's baseball team. The 2 5/8" barrel is the largest allowed by our league. You can find bigger barrels and slightly lighter length-to-weight ratios out there, but you'll pay as much as 4 times as the price of this bat.

Dents
My 8 yr old just started playing ball, 3 months in and we have a big dent between the A and S on the barrel. It happened while at the batting cage while I pitched to him. I can't believe that a slow pitched hard ball to a small 8 yr old would be able to dent a bat but it was. You get what you pay for...but I'm not dropping hundreds on a first bat.

Cheap, cheap bat
Bought for my 8 year old son. Used it at his first practice and he dented it from soft toss. Will never buy another kids Easton bat.
