Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for an 8 year old! Purchased this a month ago and has been using it since. He plays pinto baseball and it’s great! He’s been told not to hit poles and the fence with it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dents very easily Bought this bat for my 8 year old son. He has only used it a few times and does not swing hard at all but the bat has several dents in the barrel. Very disappointed with the quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Bat - Easton is still hard to beat. A great bat for the price. 27 inch, 16 oz (-11) is perfect for my 7 year old son's baseball team. The 2 5/8" barrel is the largest allowed by our league. You can find bigger barrels and slightly lighter length-to-weight ratios out there, but you'll pay as much as 4 times as the price of this bat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dents My 8 yr old just started playing ball, 3 months in and we have a big dent between the A and S on the barrel. It happened while at the batting cage while I pitched to him. I can't believe that a slow pitched hard ball to a small 8 yr old would be able to dent a bat but it was. You get what you pay for...but I'm not dropping hundreds on a first bat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap, cheap bat Bought for my 8 year old son. Used it at his first practice and he dented it from soft toss. Will never buy another kids Easton bat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyers Beware I bought this bat for my 7 yr old that weighs a whopping 46 lbs and after about 30 days of hitting baseballs, whiffle balls and rag balls the bat developed wrinkles in the barrell. As I twist the bat barrell in my hand I can feel the unevenness and structure of the barrell is wrinkled and dented.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Good This bat was used by my son who is 7 years old. We only used the bat 6 times within a 3 week period. The bat now has multiple dents in it. I have tried to request to return the bat for warranty with no answer. I am frustrated. I used Easton as a child myself and believed in the product.
