Easton’s® Extended Jaw Guard is constructed of impact resistant thermoplastic, providing players extra protection on the side of the helmet facing the pitcher. It is available for both left-handed and right-handed batters, and fits Easton’s® Pro XTM, Z5™ 2.0 and Z5TM helmets in all sizes, eliminating the need to drill any holes. The Extended Jaw Guard comes with color matched hardware for a sleek and seamless look. This product now includes longer snap screws for attaching an Easton chin strap on top of the jaw guard.

Just what he needed
My son (11) has an Easton youth helmet. This jaw guard fit perfect and was easy to put on. It has not come loose even with all the abuse.

Good protection
The jaw guard itself is a great product. The problem we had was that it only came with 1 screw that fit. Luckily we already had another Easton helmet that came with the jaw guard so, although they are a different color, we used the screws from the old jaw guard and it works great.

middle hole doesn't match up
I ordered 2 of these for my son's Easton Z5 2.0 helmet and neither one matched up right to all 3 holes. We had to modify the middle hole a little bigger for it to line up to the hole on the helmet.

Jaw protector
I brought a baseball batting helmet jaw protector and to my knowledge it didn’t seem like it was the color I ordered. I called Easton customer service to confirm the color because I was positive it wasn’t the color I ordered. It didn’t match the color of the helmet so I returned the item and I’m waiting on a refund.

So far, this is doing its job. Much cheaper than buying a new helmet...works with a deMarini helmet.
