Rated 5 out of 5 by clw13 from Safe at Home Bought this helmet for my son. He is happy with the fit and feel. He didn't want to change to a new helmet, but this one changed his mind. I feel he's safer with the upgrade.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Enginerd from Fit matters Looking to replace the Samurai G4 my son was using for a few years. The padding was wearing and the chin guard was becoming too high for him and interfering with his talking (He's grown from 5' 9" to 6' 1" in that time). Tried the Hockey Style Force3 which was loose, and some hockey style AllStars which weren't comfortable. Tried on an Easton Game time which fit, so we checked out the series. Took forever to figure out the differences between the helmets and figured I'd share that info with you. The Pro X has the padding enclosed in a sealed Bio Dri mesh for all the pieces; the top of the head, and the padding that goes around the forehead. There is some extra yellow foam padding in the upper crown that's supposed to absorb shock more than the other models. The Elite X doesn't have the Bio Dri for the top of the head (but it does for the forehead), nor the yellow foam, and the Gametime doesn't have that Bio Dri or sealed foam anywhere. Haven't had a chance to use the helmet in a game yet, but it fits him well. Visbility is fine, it weighs 2 lbs and 11.5 oz weight (about 3 oz lighter than the G4) and is quick and easy to take off. He also says it feels light and he likes the style. Much of the padding is held in with velcro which is glued to the helmet. That can be good or bad. One piece holding the forehead padding is already holding a bit tenuously. Why Can't Easton make it easy to compare their products (maybe a diagram?) and provide info like weight?

Rated 5 out of 5 by TLove from Great Helmet I bought this for my 14 year old daughter. She had previuosly worn an Easton Mako II. We liked the Mako but the padding inside did not last as long as I felt it should have. We have only had the Pro X for about two months, but I like the padding in it much better. And my daughter has always loved the fit of the Easton helmets. They are lighter and the view is better for her. She has worn just about every brand of helmet and she and I both like the Eastons best. The Pro X costs a few dollars more than the Mako II or the Prowess but I think it is well worth it.
