The 7' XLP training net is ideal for older players or for a larger pitching/fielding target. It is designed to catch as many balls as possible with nearly the entire net being a catch pocket while using heavy duty netting and double stitching to prevent against wear and tear. Sets up in less than a minute and fits easily into a travel bag for transportation. Also includes ground stakes and a removable strike zone target.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works good for the most part. Works good for my kids little league and travel ball teams, as long as the ball is above the catch line, problem is don't lose any parts of it. Lost two top poles, reached out to Easton about trying to get replacements, and was told that they do not provide replacements. So if you lose anything, you're either buying a new one, or moving on to a competitor.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good frame, poor net The frame is very good, sturdy and easy to assemble. On the other hand, the quality of the net does not match it. The net does not catch baseballs very well. When this was new, it would only catch 25-30 baseballs out of a bucket of 60. After a few uses, the velcro strap on one side is almost completely ripped off the net. As a result, the bottom "catching" net now sags really low and the net now catches only 15-20 out of 60.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk If your sons in Tball or possibly under 12yrs old this might work. $150 net for an 8th grader and high school ball player. Bought two nets and neither one catch the balls. They bounce right back off the net all over the place. Quality feels fantastic out of the box, performance is the issue. Companies make $50$75 nets that do better than this. Thought through Easton it might actually be a respectable product, wrong. I would call , but according to the other reviews about their customer service seems like a waste of time. Hoping I'll hear from someone within the Easton organization sooner than later.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love my net I bought this net a little over a month ago and I love it!!!! Easy to assemble and the size is amazing. The only thing I hope they improve on is a locking mechanism for the base poles. Other than that this net is so worth the price!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spend the extra $50, worth it. Happy I spent the extra bucks for this one, nice heavy net.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked Great at First I purchased the net and after a few months one of the fiberglass poles (two total) snapped. Unfortunately you cannot use the net without both poles. I reached out to Easton customer care to see what they can do and they informed me that they do not sell or provide extra poles and have not responded to any of my other inquiries. It's been a very disappointing experience.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Easton 7ft Net The net is huge with a giant area to use for tee work and soft toss. It appears to be well made and durable I am about 6ft 3in. and my daughter is 5ft 10in. And both power hitters, so this net is not for the older ball players or power hitters. when we would hit into the net, both off a tee and soft toss, the ball would “shoot” right back out like a sling shot. I do give kudos to Easton as they did send a replacement net as we thought this one would be defective but the replacement has the exact same issue. With the second net we actually thought that maybe the net has to “break in.” So we gave it 6-700 hundred cuts and still the same issue. I like the concept of the 7ft wide net and the part that “should” catch the balls, but it is just not effective for us. Would recommend for the young players or those that dont swing for power.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Bother- low quality and no phone help Weld broke in less than a season of usage. Unable to get an answer on phone line. 45 minutes on hold and this is 3rd attempt.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Best batting net This is the best hitting net I have ever used. The only comparable net would be the Bownet but it doesn’t have as big of an area to hit into. The strike zone on this product could be better but this net is still a great net for pitching and also works well as a backstop. Also, I would highly recommend getting this version over the 5 foot version because some balls that you hit would fly over the 5 foot height.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great, except for strike zone Ours is two years old and is used every day 9 months a year. The net works perfectly but the strike zone keeps tearing. Easton doesn't offer a replacement. They sent me one as an accommodation but it too broke and now I can't purchase a replacement strike zone anywhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Daughter LOVES It Very well constructed, easy to assemble, works great for pitching practice. have not used it much for batting practice yet, but the catch-all net at the bottom saves a LOT of time scrounging around the yard for all the thrown balls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quaity, Great Price! Components are heavier duty than most other brands and better engineered for assembling peices together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I do recommend Durable, sturdy, catches baseballs good. Once you set it up one time and take a good look at it it'll be a piece a cake to take down and put up. Going on my 2nd year(season) coaching Farm league and backyard work with my son with mines and yes its seen better days but we've put some good miles on it for sure. Still getting the job done. I do recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy setup, seems well built Bought this last night and set it up upon arriving home. Easy set up and was using it in no time. My 14 YO hit a bucket of balls into it from a tee. Worked like it is supposed to. Seems like it is built to last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Assembly I bought this product two weeks ago. My ten year old daughter loves practicing with the net. The best part about the net easily assembles and disassembles. It also fits in the convenient bag that came with the product for convenient storage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome net worth every penny! I bought this net for my 9 year old son. It is very sturdy and made of good quality. This net is the perfect size for batting practice and pitching into the zone! It is so easy to build that my 9 year old sets it up himsellf. It comes with these little metal stakes you push into the ground that holds it in place. My husband decided to set it up behind our yard between two homes, our home and the neighbors. We have a large lake behind our home where the wind picks up strong. He anchored it to the floor with the little stakes and it did not more! It is worth every penny and more. The best part is that it fits into this black bag it brings and can be stored in your car without taking up too much space. Thanks Easton for this awesome buy worth every penny!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great net - worth the price I use this for my daughter's 12U select softball team and it has been great. We have used the BowFlex nets before and the Easton is very comparable. Set up is easy and I like the "pouch" that keeps hit balls in the net.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product is easy to assemble This training aid is easy to assemble and light weight. To top it all off, it actually fits into its carrying case without having to jump on top of it and swear like a sailor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks very functional! Less than 5 mins first time put together out of the box. Should be as advertised to put together-less than 1 min now. Only 2 fiberglass 18" poles, all rest are steel. Should be great for soft toss (primary purchase)--probably even 2 kids- one on each side with wiffles. See use as well as a "pseudo-firstbaseman" as well. A little on the pricey end, but appears to be worth it. Used SKILZ product and had split fiberglass in just a few uses and am replacing it after a "complete blowout" in less than 1 season.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good net Net works great. Easy to setup. Looks nice. My son and his teammates like hitting off the net.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This net thoroughly met my high expectations This net is what you need to buy. Stop looking at cheaper options. I did and am I glad that I stopped and paid a few extra bucks. The frame is all metal; no cracking or breaking to be had of the cheaper fiberglass options. The net is high quality and loose; no tight net with balls that come back at you. Be sure to only buy the 7' model! My 8 year old hits on this and the 7' height is required. It comes with stakes! I don't feel I will need these for quite a while but it is nice to have them. The strike zone is great and easy to take on and off. The ONLY thing that would make this net better is to have the balls be able to funnel into a bucket but that is reaching for SOMETHING to complain about. This is easy to set up takes a few minutes is all and does come with a nice carry bag.
