Easton Catcher's Throat Guard
I am a NCAA College Baseball Umpire. Three weeks ago, I was working the "dish" in a NCAA baseball game, when I was struck in the throat from a batted foul ball. When I am working the plate, I always wear a "hockey style mask". However, the length of the throat guard protection on my "hockey style mask" doesn't protect my throat completely, so I needed to purchase a catcher's throat protection guard.From the moment I bought and connected the throat guard to my "hockey style mask", the added throat protection has truly been a blessing in disguise. I don't worry about setting up in the "slot" anymore.

Don't like the attachment
This product seems to do its job, but the attachment needs to be clips instead of just tying on. So far so good though.

It is what it is
Works ok, but the strings to attach it to a catcher's mask could use improvement. Others I've seen have velcro, and never come loose. We've used this one in one game and had to retie it several times. I'll buy velcro strips and throw the string away.
