THOUSAND OAKS, CA. (March 12, 2020) – Easton Diamond Sports, the industry leader in baseball-softball product innovation, today announced the signing of Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner. The 2017 All-Star and NLCS Co-MVP joins Team Easton, beginning by helping kick off Easton’s new “Don’t Hold Back” campaign which will celebrate Easton’s 2020 line of pro baseball gear and feature Easton’s entire roster of MLB players. Leading up to this year’s MLB All-Star Game which returns to Southern California, where both Turner and Easton call home, the partnership with Turner will also bring Easton’s forthcoming “Light Up LA” campaign to life by championing baseball stories and experiences in the greater LA area.

“It’s really special to partner with a company like Easton, and to have the support of a team like theirs that’s based right in my backyard in Southern California,” Turner said. “Everywhere you go now, you see Easton. I’m in love with their products. They’ve come a long way with their ball gloves, and I’m looking forward to swinging Easton’s bats this year. And beyond providing my on-field equipment, Easton is jumping on board to support the Justin Turner Foundation which deals with homeless veterans and kids battling life-altering illnesses and diseases. I’m excited that Easton wants to join me in making an impact on people’s lives in the Los Angeles area.”

This season, Turner will compete with Easton’s Pro Collection Ball Gloves which have been completely redesigned for 2020. Other Team Easton MLB players will also introduce a brand-new series of Pro Collection Batting Gloves and Pro Collection Wood Bats this year; catchers will wear Easton’s Pro X catcher’s gear.

“We are very honored to partner with Justin,” said Easton President Dan Jelinek. “He is not only an iconic player in Los Angeles and throughout Major League Baseball, but also a class act on as well as off the field and someone we are proud to have represent our products and brand. We look forward to working with Justin to support his philanthropic foundation, and helping raise awareness for causes that transcend baseball.”

Easton now has multiple, elite MLB players at every position on the field and Team Easton has expanded to include more MLB teams and US markets.
