THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (September 17, 2020) –; Easton Diamond Sports, the industry leader in baseball-softball product innovation, today introduced its first Trade In and Trade Up Program for baseball. With this announcement, players can now easily trade in their used USA, USSSA and BBCOR bats to receive a credit toward the purchase of a new Easton USSSA or BBCOR baseball bat on Easton.com.

Based on the MSRP and condition of a qualifying bat, Easton establishes a trade in value of up to $100 and provides a voucher via e-mail with a unique code that can be entered at checkout on Easton.com. The Easton Trade In and Trade Up Program accepts USA, USSSA and BBCOR baseball bats that are in usable condition, whether they’re Easton bats or bats from a variety of other brands. The Program is designed to make it as easy as possible for players to upgrade from whatever they’re currently swinging to Easton’s latest and greatest bat innovations, arriving at a time when baseball activities are beginning to return.

“We’re constantly looking for ways to help players, coaches and families leverage Easton’s latest bat technologies,” said Easton President Dan Jelinek. “There’s so much excitement around our 2020 and 2021 bats as well as what our team has in store beyond that, and our new Trade In and Trade Up Program gives everyone another way to get the bat they really want and need to unlock their potential at the plate. Whether you’re upgrading from an Easton bat you already love, coming back to Easton or joining the team for the first time, we’re excited for you to dig in with our best.”

Anyone interested in trading in their used bat can complete a short Web form and submit a photo of their bat on Easton’s site. Then, Easton will review the form and verify the brand and model in the photo before providing a pre-paid shipping label via e-mail. Next, you box up and ship your bat to Easton for processing. Upon verifying the model and condition of the bat received, Easton will send you a voucher via e-mail to use on Easton.com. Currently, voucher credit can be applied to the purchase of a new Easton USSSA baseball bat, such as the ADV 360 or Maxum 360, or a new Easton BBCOR baseball bat, such as the 2021 B5 Pro or ADV 360. Easton’s bat lineup has earned more awards from Bat Digest than any other equipment brand, with many of the country’s elite travel ball programs and D1 college programs choosing Easton over its competitors. There’s never been a better time to make the switch to Easton or upgrade, and now it’s easier than ever before.
