EASTON CONGRATULATES UCLA FOR WINNING THE 2019 NCAA SOFTBALL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
THOUSAND OAKS, CA. (JUNE 6, 2019) – Easton Diamond Sports, LLC. celebrates storied program, as UCLA Softball makes history again by winning its 12th national title. UCLA and Easton have been proud partners for all 12 of the Bruins’ National Championships.
This season, UCLA’s dynamic offense was powered by Easton’s Ghost Double Barrel ASA / USA bat. At the beginning of the Women’s College World Series® tournament, Easton launched a new Ghost Double Barrel fastpitch bat with its college programs that is approved for all fields. During the Championship Series, the vast majority of UCLA’s lineup made the switch to the new Easton Ghost Double Barrel model. Players at all levels, on any field, will soon be able to swing the same bats as the 2019 National Champions beginning June 17th.
With UCLA’s dominant performance at the plate in this year’s WCWS, Easton once again has the #1 Bat in Women’s College World Series History.*
“We are extremely proud of our long-standing partnership with the UCLA Softball Program,” said Easton SVP of Sales and Marketing Dan Jelinek. “As the most iconic softball program in the sport, UCLA continues to raise the bar and set the standard of excellence. Easton congratulates the Bruins on their NCAA-leading 12th National Championship in softball, and we’re happy to share a small part of the Bruins’ success with the launch of the new Easton Ghost Double Barrel bat that is approved for all fields of play. Just like the Bruins, Easton represents the pinnacle of its industry and we are fortunate to have such an amazing partner in UCLA Softball. Go Bruins!”
