Easton’s® new Universal Baseball/Softball mask is constructed of high tensile steel wire to ensure maximum protection, and features an easy two-point connection system. The one-size design fits all Easton® Pro XTM, Z5™ 2.0 and Z5TM helmets in the Senior and Junior sizes. It is not approved for use on the Prowess helmet or the Z5™ XL helmet. The Universal Baseball/Softball mask is NOCSAE™ approved for balls no smaller than 9 inches in circumference.

Perfect glove
I bought this for my 8-year-old daughter for her first season in softball. She loves it. The fit is perfect and the color is great.

Weighs Too Much
This is hunk of steel. My son has a Junior sized Easton Helmet. Their helmets are already heavy and this is too much. He is trying to pitch, but it keeps pulling the helmet down or tweaking his neck. There is no way I would recommend this for younger Little League kids. But yes if your kid is hit in the face by a line drive it will stop it.

Too heavy
Cheap steel is heavy. Tubular or solid aluminum would be a better option especially for smaller children that are already uncomfortable with a heavy helmet while running as it is. This mask makes the helmet fall down in front of my daughters’ faces when they swing hard or run and this is the smallest helmets Easton had.
Lighten these masks up, Easton.

Purchased for my 6u son should be made of something more lightweight. Pulls helmet over his eyes where he cannot see.

Perfect for the Z5 helmet
Granddaughter moved up to player pitch LL, didn't want a facemask. Then, she saw a teammate catch one on the cheek and decided she needed one. Easy to attach, solid fit, and a confidence builder. Doesn't obstruct her vision, protects her face. Looks like a W to me
